the cost of things.

Sometimes it feels like everyone just wants more things, but what's the real value of these things to begin with? What's the true basis of everything? And at what cost does modern society maintain its appetite for things? In my limited span of life what I've personally found is that the only things that really matter, are invisible. You can't measure them, you can't physically hold them, and you can't place them in another's hand or pocket. Our only real luxuries are time, memories, and the quality of our bonds with others. At least, this is what luxuries are to me.
