towards a casteless society.

I  believe in a casteless society. Where status doesn't define friendships, societal values, or customs. Whether or not this is possible, I truly don't know. However, it's an idea I wish to hold onto and examine forever. Is caste and status seeking something simply wired within us as human beings as a means of control? Is it even possible for us to one day shed this skin? It's a question for the times as well as a question I hope to find more answers to within my own lifetime. In truth we are all one and the same - one human race. Whether suffering, hope, dreams, or the simple want of belonging - we all share the same intangibles whether conscious of them or not. I wish this was a more popular idea, but for some reason - it's not.
